This little guy had a family, but now he's on the list. He is almost 5 years old and is reportedly a happy young man. I do not have any updated pictures right now, unfortunately. He has suspected achondroplasia.
The purpose of the LPA Adoption Committee is to find a family for every child with dwarfism who needs one. The committee serves as a facilitator between potential adoptive parents, adoption agencies, and birth parents. It is our hope that every single short-statured child in the world finds their own loving family. Back on the list!
We are always saddened to hear that kids had a family, but for some reason it didn't work out. Here are two kiddos who are back on our list. We would love to hear that they find their families very, very soon!
This is a boy, even though he is wearing pink. He is 9 1/2 years old and is living in China. We suspect that he may have hypochondroplasia, or achondroplasia - hard to tell with the photos, but he is 3 standard deviations off of the growth curve. He needs to find a family - he has been on LPA's list for the past 3 years.
