This little guy will turn 2 in February. We just received a few more pictures of him. According to the foster workers, he is not a huge fan of the pool. Either way, he's pretty darn cute.
The purpose of the LPA Adoption Committee is to find a family for every child with dwarfism who needs one. The committee serves as a facilitator between potential adoptive parents, adoption agencies, and birth parents. It is our hope that every single short-statured child in the world finds their own loving family. If you would like to donate to help children find their families, please click the link on the Available Children page. Thank you for your support!

An updated picture!
Here is a very recent picture of the little girl with OI from China. She is very smart, and loves to listen to music. She's four years old and would love to find her family.
A 2 year old available for adoption from China!
We just received this little girl's picture. We're not sure yet of her diagnosis, but as soon as we know more, we'll let you know. She is diagnosed with "suspected dwarfism" and was born January 2009. We have her file, so if you are interested, let us know!

Two children found their families!
We love good news. And this is the second best news in adoption. The best *best* news of adoption we can hear is that the children are finally home. These two children are on their way!
She's back on the list!
Apparently she was locked in, but we found out that she is still on the list! Isn't she adorable? She's 2 1/2, has achondroplasia, and is in China.

She's got a grant!
This is Guan Jin, from China. She has been on our list for over two years now. She is 8 years old, and is a studious and obedient child. She looks after her little foster sister, and is very helpful to adults. She is in foster care, so she has had an education up to this time.
She now has a $2200 grant attached with her adoption. Along with all of the other grants you can apply for, the costs of this adoption could be minimal. Please consider adopting an older child - we've had lots of success with other families adopting older children.
