Sam - handsome boy with OI

Sam is an extremely handsome 3 year old with OI and scoliosis in China. He would love to find his family ASAP!

Back on the list!

We are always saddened to hear that kids had a family, but for some reason it didn't work out.  Here are two kiddos who are back on our list.  We would love to hear that they find their families very, very soon!

This little guy had a family, but now he's on the list. He is almost 5 years old and is reportedly a happy young man. I do not have any updated pictures right now, unfortunately. He has suspected achondroplasia.

This is a boy, even though he is wearing pink. He is 9 1/2 years old and is living in China. We suspect that he may have hypochondroplasia, or achondroplasia - hard to tell with the photos, but he is 3 standard deviations off of the growth curve. He needs to find a family - he has been on LPA's list for the past 3 years.

New children available!

This is Nathan! He is listed as having Rickets, but we think he may have achondroplasia. He is three years old and lives in China.

And...this is Rory.  She is 2 years old, has Turner's Syndrome, and is also in China.  They would both love to find their families!

"Ethan", 12 years old, is still available and he has grants!

Ethan has a $2500 grant from the placement adoption agency, and LPA will give a larger grant than usual to the family who has adopted him.  Now is the time for Ethan to find his family!

UPDATE FROM APRIL 2014:
Ethan loves to participate in group activities at the school and has won the "good student" and "model worker" awards. He is interested in sports and won skating and softball awards in the Special Olympics.
He also performed in a school play.

Ethan is a good helper --he helps the teacher pass out and collect things.  His teacher and the students like him. He is also willing to help aunts do whatever thing, like holding a bowl, wash the dishes, wash the toys, their own thing also try to do it themselves, such as brush shoes, clothes. Sometimes also help take care of younger siblings.
Ethan is polite.  He likes and is good at sports, like playing badminton, and basketball. He has a lively personality, but sometimes can be quiet and elegant, He can paint and write smoothly.  He will sing songs and pop songs, and can dance very well.
